Everyday I’m Guzzling

As We were growing up, we were taught to drink at least 8oz of water a day. Now, how many of you actually do it? I get it life gets busy and taking care of our bodies and skin take the back burner. Even though I still think we all need to drink water throughout the day, I have become addictive to detox water, which can help cleanse and hydrate the body, help with digestive system, reduce bloating, etc. 
I have tried many different detox water, but always go back to one in particular. Lemon,mint,and cucumber water. This water reverses inflammation and cuts belly fat. Of course ,the first information I noticed is cuts belly fat. Who isn’t looking for a simpler way to have a flat belly? I know I am. 

This water has helped me feel less bloated and has regulated me. 

Ingredients:

  • 3 quarts of filtered water
  • 2-3 small Lemons

              – helps cleanse and alkalize the body. It AIDS in digestive and boost the immune system 

  • 12 Mints

                – helps settle the stomach and AIDS in digestive. Also, adds a touch of sweetness without added sugar.

  • 1 medium cucumber   

                – Rehydrates and contains inflammatory properties. 

*Mix all ingredients and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, but best overnight.

Skin Recharge

As of today, face masks and scrubs have been very popular, but unfortunately have also increased in price. Now, I don’t know about everyone else, but I want a mask that not only exfoliates and hydrates my skin, but also I can afford.  Lucky for you, I will show you two different face masks and one body scrub that will help replenish you skin without leaving you with an empty wallet. 

  1. Greek yogurt + Honey                                                                                   
  • 2tbs Greek yogurt 

             – helps moisture the skin

  • 1 tbs Honey

             – works on acne while Alison cleaning and moisturizing 

*Apply mask on a clean face

*Leave on for 15 minutes

*Wash off mask with warm water. 
    2. Greek yogurt + Oatmeal.                                                                 

  • 2tbs Greek yogurt

              – helps exfoliate the skin 

  • 3 scoops of Steel cut Oatmeal

             – helps sooth dry, irritated skin while at the same time keeping skin soft. 

*Apply mask on a clean face 

*Leave mask on for 15 minutes. 

*Wash off mask with warm water. 
   3. Brown sugar + Honey + Olive oil                                                                       

  • 2tbs Brown sugar

              -scrubs off dry, rough skin. 

  • 1tbs Olive oil and honey

             – both help re-nourish and moisturizer the body

* Apply to dry skin (hands, elbows, knees, body in general)

* leave on for 10-15 minutes and the wash off.

I’m in Love with the Coco!

Coconut oil has been use to Re-boost the hair for a long time. It is one the easiest and affordable treatments for hair nourishments.

Personally my hair is a mess. It is always loosing its shine causing it to be dry. Im constantly finding myself applying half the bottle of conditioner just to have some soft hair, and I know I’m not alone. Although, using your entire conditioner bottle will give you shinning and soft hair, that will get pricy.

Coconut Oil benefits:
